You may be wondering about the title of this article – what do Easyjet, Ebay and Intersafe all have in common? Well I can tell you that the common link is they all turn 20 this year. Electrical Testing experts, Intersafe, celebrate their 20th birthday on Monday 21st December and it is an anniversary they are extremely proud of.
Intersafe began life on 21st December 1995 at Regus International House in Southampton. The inspiration for founder, Adrian Pendle, to start Intersafe came when he was buying in PAT Testing services for the family company. Adrian felt that the market was not well served so he took the decision to form Intersafe Ltd, offering PAT Testing, Periodic Testing and Thermal Imaging with a highly professional service.
This highly professional service quickly caught the attention of multinational telecommunications company Motorola and they became the first client in 1995. Since then the list of major clients has grown, from American Express and Sony, to Mulberry, the University of Brighton and the Ministry of Defence, the list goes on.
Director, Adrian Pendle, said: ‘Offering excellent service to customers has always been extremely important to us and is part of how Intersafe has secured long term trusting relationships with lots of our clients, including the likes of Cineworld. We are very proud to be celebrating our 20th birthday, here’s to the next 20!’
Intersafe use only their own fully employed and qualified Engineers to undertake Electrical Testing contracts as they believe this is the only way to guarantee the quality and professionalism of the service they offer, giving clients the stability and continuity they require. They also understand that communication with clients is one of the most important factors in ensuring a successful project outcome, therefore maintaining open channels of communication at all times is key.
Intersafe have been forward thinking in their field from the outset. In 2002, Director Adrian Pendle, featured in the FMJ and presented his thoughts on the future of PAT testing. True to what has happened, Adrian foresaw the future as paperless, when he said ‘At Intersafe we encourage organisations to make more use of our paperless testing system.’
