One of the biggest names in tennis has formed part of a hat-trick of customers kicking off their year with Intersafe.
The trio, which also includes an international architecture firm and top college, may come from completely different sectors but they all have one thing in common – their expectations were exceeded when they made the switch from their previous electrical testing suppliers to Intersafe.
Prestigious tennis venue, The Queen’s Club,awarded Intersafe the contract to carry out its fixed wire testing for its entire site. With the estate being made up of several buildings, 28 outdoor courts and eight indoor, it was no straightforward job. ;
However, Intersafe’s testing team, with its years of experience, made the challenge look like a walk in the (ball) park as they worked around the venue’s schedule to complete the work over just a few weeks. ;
With member experience being of paramount importance to the club, Intersafe took extra care to ensure its fixed electrical testing didn’t interrupt members’ games.
Gary Neal, facilities manager at The Queen’s Club, said: “I was very happy with the way Intersafe accommodated our need for the them to work out of hours. As well as going the extra mile with the scheduling of the work, Intersafe’s quote was competitive and cheaper than our previous electrical testing company.
“The fact that we had one designated engineer as our point of contact was a real help and made everything run smoothly. Overall I’m very happy with the work and would definitely use Intersafe again.”
Intersafe is now going the extra mile by carrying out the all-important remedial works to ensure any faulty circuits found during the fixed wire testing are fixed and compliant with health and safety legislation.
Another business that is starting the new year with Intersafe is international architecture firm, Sheppard Robson.
The company, which also has bases in Manchester, Glasgow and Abu Dhabi, chose Intersafe because it was able to provide a much more bespoke fixed wire testing service than competitors.
Intersafe carried out the fixed wire testing at Sheppard Robson’s Camden base, which is in a converted piano factory. All of the work took place out of hours to fit around the busy firm’s daily activity.
Facilities manager Quentin Armstrong-Barrsaid: “The fact that the team worked out of hours meant there was minimal disruption to our office activity. Working with Intersafe was very easy and enjoyable because they were straightforward, friendly and worked to a high standard. They did what they said they’d do and they did it on time, which may seem simple but is a rarity these days.
“What really sets Intersafe apart from previous providers is the team. We had one dedicated contact who was friendly,calm and well organized. He was always willing to talk me through the work and answer any questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Intersafe again.”
Completing the hat trick of happy Intersafe customers is Northbrook College, whose expectations were exceeded when Intersafe was able to be flexible with its quote as well as its working hours.
Intersafe’s specialist education team members, who are all CRB checked, worked out of hours at no extra cost to PATtest around 14,000 items at the college in Worthing. Everything from computers to toasters were tested to a high standard to ensure student safety and a full report was provided to the college’s facilities manager on completion of the work.
Simon Brodrick, estates and facilities manager at the college, said: “It was a very successful job and the team was very helpful. What stood Intersafe apart from the crowd was the way it was so accommodating of our needs as an educational institution.”
