A focus on high quality service and flexible testing schedules impresses Cirencester College

Cirencester College is a specialist sixth form college in a rural setting on the outskirts of Cirencester. One of only three designated specialist Sixth Form Colleges in the South West, Cirencester College is also one of the top ranking Sixth Form Colleges in the country.

Offering a choice of A-levels, vocational courses and professional apprenticeships, the college has over 8000 students currently enrolled.

Cirencester College used to manage and conduct their PAT testing in house. They had invested in the right testing equipment but the Estates Team found that it was actually quite time consuming to conduct the testing thoroughly.

After an initial consultation visit from Angus, Intersafe’s Business Development Manager, Cirencester College were confident that Intersafe were well suited to the task; understanding the work involved, offering the flexibility needed and ensuring all tested was completed and recorded accurately.

Naturally, the college were focussed on minimising disruption to students whilst also completing the testing by their deadline.

Flexibility is core to Intersafe’s approach and together with the Estates Team, a customised testing schedule was developed and agreed, in which all student areas, such as classrooms, were tested out of term-time, with most admin and office areas being tested outside of office hours in the early evening.
