From saunas to Sunseekers…Intersafe saw it all in 2012
As 2013 is firmly underway, new figures reveal that Intersafe PAT tested a record number of items in 2012.
The company’s team of expert testing engineers checked a whopping 269,127 items, ranging from kettles and computers to giant freezers and chocolate making machines. Of those items over 8,000 failed – highlighting the importance of regular testing in the workplace says managing director, Adrian Pendle.
Intersafe, based in Fareham, continued to work with a wide range of clients throughout the Olympic year, with the most northerly based in Aberdeen and the most southerly in Jersey. ;
As well as electrical testing in schools, colleges, shops, offices, warehouses and universities, Intersafe carried out work in some more unusual venues. These included cinemas, saunas and theatre stages. ;
Perhaps the most glamorous location visited by Intersafe’s PAT testing experts in 2012 was the Sunseeker factory in Poole, where superyachts were being built for the rich and famous.
According to the latest figures, 83 per cent of those who called upon Intersafe’s services in 2012 were repeat customers. ;
Adrian Pendle said: “As a company, this is the best statistic from our review of 2012. It shows that we have, and to continue to provide such a good service for our clients that they continue to come back to us time and time again.
“Our aim is to increase that figure once again in 2013 by finding new ways to provide even more superb value and even more efficient service.”
