Two of the UK’s major facilities management events have merged to create one major show for 2013.
UBM, organisers of both the Facilities Show Live and The FM Event have announced that they will merge both events to create the Facilities Show for 2013.
The Facilities Show 2013 is set to be the world’s largest facilities and estates management event and will be held at the Birmingham NEC from 14th – 16th May.
Organisers say the decision to bring together the two shows was taken very carefully and in accordance with feedback received from the industry.
According to a report in Facilities Management Journal Fergus Bird, group event manager at UBM Live, said: “We really felt that the time was right to focus all our energies and expertise on one annual event, Facilities Show. The emphasis on one annual show next year unites the entire industry across the three days, providing one focal point that can meet the needs of the FM market all in one place.”
The two organisers are hoping to bring a new dynamic and strengthen the show building on previous success and legacy of the two shows and positioning the event as one of the world’s leading facilities management trade show events. ;
The event will showcase the latest and most innovative facilities and estates management products and services.
