Our Fixed Wire Testing team visit clients’ premises to test their systems as per an agreed schedule. As part of our team you will:

  • Carry out Fixed Wire Testing in client sites according to the latest IEE guidelines
  • Deliver high-quality testing services
  • Manage the day-to-day interaction with clients whilst on site
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal management teams
  • Complete accurate records and paperwork
  • Be self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Have a ‘can-do’ attitude to challenges
  • Take a disciplined and methodical approach to work
  • Have knowledge of the latest Inspection & Testing guidelines
  • Be comfortable working on your own or within a team

To join our team you must have:

  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/95 qualification
  • City & Guilds 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) Level 3 in electrical installations
  • City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition qualification
  • Full current driving license
  • Prior commercial testing experience

Varied work

Some days are 9am-5pm, but others will require testing out of hours or occasionally at weekends. Most of your role is completing laptop-based EICR reports, alongside emergency light testing, remedial work and thermographic surveys when required – with full training provided
